Terms and Conditions for Tattoo bookings:
Due to "no show" clients, late arrivals and our time constraints, we have had to implement the following rules to all bookings:
We are also able to make "painless tattoos". This is done by applying a special topical anesthetic 60 minutes prior to the tattoo and is also applied during the making process of the tattoo which will numb the area and make the process more comfortable for the client. We know that many other tattoo artists are against using any topical anesthetics as they believe that the products have a negative effect on how the skin will react to the tattoo and that more bleeding / oozing can be caused. However, many professionals in the medical tattooing industry use topical anesthetics for intradermal procedures and this also includes para-medical procedures. As an Intradermal Cosmetic Specialist our artist have used topical anesthetics with huge success on many of her clients over the years. She has found that by using a topical anesthetic while making a tattoo does not only reduce the pain for the client, but it also reduces swelling, inflammation, bleeding and oozing. "Painless tattoos" are an extra service. Please request this if you are interested.
Cost of Tattoos:
The cost of a tattoo is estimated on the time that it will take to make the tattoo from start to finish. All quotations are only estimates and no accurate quotation can be given on your design as the artist is paid by the hour. Please see the costs below:
A minimum fee for sterilization and supplies:
R450 p/tattoo or sitting.
Topical Anaesthetics if required by the client:
Custom Design work or Alterations to any designs to be done by the artist:
Minimum Fee: R350
Plus: R350 p/hour
A minimum of 50% deposit on the quote estimate must be paid before the artist will start with any design work. Completed designs will only be given / e-mailed to clients once full payment is received for the design. The final amount for the design will be determined in accordance to the time the artist spends on the design and extra charges will be payable as the work progresses.
Should you wish to get an estimate on your tattoo design idea or you have a design, please feel free to e-mail a picture, along with the dimensions and the placement to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Studio Designs and Flash Cards:
We have a flash card file at the studio that contains designs on tattoos. Most of these designs have a pre-quoted estimate to give you an idea of what you can expect to pay for your tattoo in accordance to the size you see. Prices may vary in accordance to the actual time needed to complete the tattoo and the client's size requirements. Regret: You may not leave the studio with our designs unless it is tattooed it on to you.
Please note: The making of a tattoo is an art and the artist will take the time she needs in order to make your tattoo to the best of her capabilities. Therefore, quotations are an estimation of the final price you can expect to pay and not a guaranteed price. Also, for this very reason the artist also doesn't allow an audience or children/babies to sit in during the making process of a tattoo under any circumstances. As visitors become bored they become more of a distraction and a nuisance to both the tattoo artist and the client, which results on the tattoo making process to take longer. Allowing guests will cause that the artist has no other choice but to charge more for the extra time wasted because of guests and can lead to the artist not completing the design which will lead to the client having to reschedule and pay much more for the tattoo.
We understand that friends or family may be as excited as you are about your new tattoo, but it's better if they stay home where they can keep themselves busy with their own things while you are peacefully busy getting your new tattoo. They can share in your excitement once your tattoo is complete.

Cost of Body Piercings:
Most of our piercings are done by using a sterile medical grade needle. Body piercings made with a needle have proven to heal faster and are less prone to infections and inflammation. Only exception to the rule is ears as ears to heal quickly and clients have a preference to the gun. However, ears can also be pierced using a needle, we have found that piercing our own ears with a sharp needle results in to a faster recovery as there are less trauma caused. Regret: We do not believe in spraying the area with any topical anesthetic as this really hasn't proven to be effective. You are free to numb the area to be pierced with a numbing product such as Emla or any oral numbing product recommended by your pharmacist to lessen the pain 30 minutes prior to your appointment.
Belly; Tongue; Eyebrow; Labret & Nipple - R220 each
Ear Piercings (1 or both) - R160
Nose - R160
Please note: All appointments will be cancelled if the clients is later than 15 minutes.
